Takbīr
اللہُ اَ کْبَر
Translation: Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ is the Greatest
Šanā
سُبْحٰنَکَ اللّٰھُمَّ وَ بِحَمْدِکَ وَ تَبَارَکَ اسْمُکَ وَتَعَالٰی جَدُّکَ وَ لَآ اِلٰہَ غَیْرُکَ ط
Translation: Glory is to You Ya Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ! I praise You, Blessed is Your Name, Your greatness is exalted and none is worthy of worship except You
Ta’awwuż
اَعُوْذُ بِاللہِ مِنَ الشَّیْطٰنِ الرَّجِیْم
Translation: I seek protection from Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ against the accursed Satan
Tasmiyyaĥ
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْم
Translation: Allah’s name I begin with, the Most Kind, the Most Merciful.
Sūraĥ al-Fātihaĥ
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَ(1) الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ(2) مٰلِكِ یَوْمِ الدِّیْنِ(3) اِیَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَ اِیَّاكَ نَسْتَعِیْنُ(4) اِهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِیْمَ(5) صِرَاطَ الَّذِیْنَ اَنْعَمْتَ عَلَیْهِمْ ﴰ غَیْرِ الْمَغْضُوْبِ عَلَیْهِمْ وَ لَا الضَّآلِّیْنَ(7)
Translation: All praise is due to Allah, the Owner of all the worlds. The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. The Owner of the Day of Recompense. You alone may we worship, and from You alone may we seek help. Enable us to walk the Straight Path. The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favour. Not of those who were subjected to (Your) wrath nor of the astray ones.
Surah Feel
اَلَمْ تَرَ كَیْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِاَصْحٰبِ الْفِیْلِ(1) اَلَمْ یَجْعَلْ كَیْدَهُمْ فِیْ تَضْلِیْلٍ(2) وَّ اَرْسَلَ عَلَیْهِمْ طَیْرًا اَبَابِیْلَ(3) تَرْمِیْهِمْ بِحِجَارَةٍ مِّنْ سِجِّیْلٍ(4) فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍ مَّاْكُوْلٍ(5)
Translation: O Beloved, did you not see how your Lord dealt with the People of the Elephant? Did He not put their trick into devastation? And sent swarms of birds over them. Striking them with stones of baked clay. So, He made them like the leftover consumed leaves of harvest (i.e. husk).
Surah Quraysh
لِاِیْلٰفِ قُرَیْشٍ(1) اٖلٰفِهِمْ رِحْلَةَ الشِّتَآءِ وَ الصَّیْفِ(2) فَلْیَعْبُدُوْا رَبَّ هٰذَا الْبَیْتِ(3) الَّذِیْۤ اَطْعَمَهُمْ مِّنْ جُوْ عٍ ﳔ وَّ اٰمَنَهُمْ مِّنْ خَوْفٍ(4)
Translation: In order to give inclination to the Quraysh. (Allah gave them) the inclination during both of their (business) journeys in the winter and the summer. So, they should worship the Lord of this House (i.e. of the Ka'bah). The One Who gave them food in hunger and secured them from great fear.
Surah Ma’oon
اَرَءَیْتَ الَّذِیْ یُكَذِّبُ بِالدِّیْنِ(1) فَذٰلِكَ الَّذِیْ یَدُعُّ الْیَتِیْمَ(2) وَ لَا یَحُضُّ عَلٰى طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِیْنِ(3) فَوَیْلٌ لِّلْمُصَلِّیْنَ(4) الَّذِیْنَ هُمْ عَنْ صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُوْنَ(5) الَّذِیْنَ هُمْ یُرَآءُوْنَ(6) وَ یَمْنَعُوْنَ الْمَاعُوْنَ(7)
Translation: Do you see the one who belies the religion? Then it is him who pushes away the orphan. And does not encourage (others) to feed the needy. So, destruction is for those performers of Salah. Who are neglectful of their Salah. Those who show off. And refuse to give (small) things of use when asked
Surah Kawsar
اِنَّاۤ اَعْطَیْنٰكَ الْكَوْثَرَ(1) فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَ انْحَرْ(2) اِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ الْاَبْتَرُ(3)
Translation: O Beloved, We have indeed bestowed upon you countless excellences. So, you should offer Salah for your Lord, and sacrifice. Indeed, he who is your enemy, only he is deprived of every goodness.
Surah Kaafiroon
قُلْ یٰۤاَیُّهَا الْكٰفِرُوْنَ(1) لَاۤ اَعْبُدُ مَا تَعْبُدُوْنَ(2) وَ لَاۤ اَنْتُمْ عٰبِدُوْنَ مَاۤ اَعْبُدُ(3) وَ لَاۤ اَنَا عَابِدٌ مَّا عَبَدْتُّمْ(4) وَ لَاۤ اَنْتُمْ عٰبِدُوْنَ مَاۤ اَعْبُدُ(5) لَكُمْ دِیْنُكُمْ وَ لِیَ دِیْنِ(6)
Translation: Say you (O Beloved), 'O disbelievers!' I do not worship whom you worship. And nor do you worship Whom I worship. And I shall not worship whom you have worshipped. Nor will you worship Whom I worship. For you is your religion, and for me is my religion.
Surah Nasr
اِذَا جَآءَ نَصْرُ اللّٰهِ وَ الْفَتْحُ(1) وَ رَاَیْتَ النَّاسَ یَدْخُلُوْنَ فِیْ دِیْنِ اللّٰهِ اَفْوَاجًا(2) فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ وَ اسْتَغْفِرْهُﳳ-اِنَّهٗ كَانَ تَوَّابًا(3)
Translation: When help and victory of Allah comes. And you see people entering the religion of Allah in droves. Thus, glorify your Lord whilst praising Him, and seek forgiveness from Him; indeed, He is the Greatest Acceptor of repentance.
Surah Lahab
تَبَّتْ یَدَاۤ اَبِیْ لَهَبٍ وَّ تَبَّ(1) مَاۤ اَغْنٰى عَنْهُ مَالُهٗ وَ مَا كَسَبَ(2) سَیَصْلٰى نَارًا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍ(3) وَّ امْرَاَتُهٗؕ-حَمَّالَةَ الْحَطَبِ(4) فِیْ جِیْدِهَا حَبْلٌ مِّنْ مَّسَدٍ(5)
Translation: May both the hands of Abu Lahab be destroyed, and he has been destroyed. His wealth did not benefit him in the least, nor did whatever he earned. He will soon enter the Fire with layers of flames. And his wife (too), carrying the bundle of wood on her head. A rope made from date palm fibre (will be) around her neck.
Surah Ikhlas
قُلْ هُوَ اللّٰهُ اَحَدٌ(1) اَللّٰهُ الصَّمَدُ(2) لَمْ یَلِدْ ﳔ وَ لَمْ یُوْلَدْ(3) وَ لَمْ یَكُنْ لَّهٗ كُفُوًا اَحَدٌ(4)
Translation: Say you (O Beloved), 'He is Allah, He is One.' 'Allah is the Independent.' 'He has no offspring, nor is He born from anyone.' 'And there is no one equal to Him.'
Surah Falaq
قُلْ اَعُوْذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ(1) مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ(2) وَ مِنْ شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ اِذَا وَقَبَ(3) وَ مِنْ شَرِّ النَّفّٰثٰتِ فِی الْعُقَدِ(4) وَ مِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ اِذَا حَسَدَ(5)
Translation: Say you (O Beloved), 'I take refuge in the One Who is the Creator of the daybreak.' 'From the evil of His entire creation.' 'And from the evil of the darkness (of the night) when it sets in.' 'And from the evil of those female (magicians) who blow onto knots.' 'And from the evil of the envier when he envies me
Surah Naas

'From the evil of the one who inculcates evil thoughts in the hearts and withdraws (when one engages himself in the remembrance of Allah).' 'Those who inculcate evil whispers into the hearts of the people.' '(From amongst) Jinn and mankind.'
Surah Naas

Tasbih [Arabic words] recited in Rukū
سُبْحٰنَ رَ بِّیَ الْعَظِیْم
Translation: Glory to my Magnificent Rab عَزَّوَجَلَّ
Tasmī’
سُبْحٰنَ رَ بِّیَ الْعَظِیْم
Translation: Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ heard whoever praised Him.
Tahmeed
اَللّٰھُمَّ رَبَّنَا وَلَکَ الْحَمْد
Translation: O Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ)! O our Rab All praises are for You only.
Tasbih [Arabic words] recited in Sajdah
سُبْحٰنَ رَ بِّیَ الْاَعْلٰی
Translation: Glory to my Most High Rab عَزَّوَجَلَّ
Tasbih [Arabic words] recited in Sajdah
سُبْحٰنَ رَ بِّیَ الْاَعْلٰی
Translation: Glory to my Most High Rab عَزَّوَجَلَّ
Tasbih [Arabic words] recited in Jalsah
اَللّٰھُمَّ اغْفِرْلِـی
Translation: Yā Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ forgive me. It is Mustahab to invoke it. اَللّٰھُمَّ اغْفِرْلِـی
At’tahiyath
اَلتَّحِیَّاتُ لِلّٰہِ وَ الصَّلَوَاتُ وَ الطَّیِّبٰتُطاَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْکَ اَیُّھَا النَّبِیُّ وَ رَحْمَۃُ اللہِ وَبَرَکَا تُہٗ ط اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْنَا وَعَلٰی عِبَادِ اللہِ الصّٰلِحِیْنَ ط اَشْھَدُ اَنْ لَّا ٓاِلٰـہَ اِلَّا اللہُ وَ اَشْھَدُ اَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُہٗ وَ رَسُوْلُہ ٗ ط
Translation: All types of worship i.e. oral, physical and monetary are for Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ Salutation be upon you Yā Nabī صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم and the mercy and blessings of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ. Salutation be upon us and the pious men of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ and I testify that Muhammad صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is His (Distinguished) Bondman and Rasool.
Durūd-e-Ibrāĥīm
اَللّٰھُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ عَلٰٓی اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ کَمَا صَلَّیْتَ عَلٰٓی اِبْرٰھِیْمَ وَ عَلٰٓی اٰلِ اِبْرٰھِیْمَ اِ نَّکَ حَمِیْدٌ مَّجِیْدٌ ط اَللّٰھُمَّ بَارِکْ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ عَلٰٓی اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ کَمَا بَارَکْتَ عَلٰٓی اِبْرٰھِیْمَ وَ عَلٰٓی اٰلِ اِبْرٰھِیْمَ اِنَّکَ حَمِیْدٌ مَّجِیْدٌ ط
Translation: O Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ send Salat on (our Master) Muhammad صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم and on his descendants as You sent Salat on (our Master) Ibrahim عَـلَيْـهِ الـصَّلٰوة ُ وَالـسَّلَام and his descendants. Indeed you alone are praise worthy and Glorious. O Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ shower Your blessings on (our Master) Muhammad صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم and his descendants as You showered blessings on (our Master) Ibrahim عَـلَيْـهِ الـصَّلٰوة ُ وَالـسَّلَام and his descendants. Indeed You are praiseworthy and Glorious.
Du’a after Durood
اَللّٰھُمَّ رَبَّنَآ اٰتِنَا فِی الدُّنْیَا حَسَنَۃً وَّ فِی الْاٰخِرَۃِ حَسَنَۃً وَّ قِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Translation: Ya Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ! Our Rab عَزَّوَجَلَّ! Grant us the good of this world and the good of the Hereafter and save us from the torment of the Hell.
Salam
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَیْکُمْ وَرَحْمَۃُ اللہِ
Translation: May the peace and mercy of Allah Almighty be upon you.
Du’a-e-Qunut
اَللّٰھُمَّ اِنَّا نَسْتَعِیْنُکَ وَ نَسْتَغْفِرُکَ وَ نُؤْمِنُ بِکَ وَ نَتَوَکَّلُ عَلَیْکَ وَنُثْنِیْ عَلَیْکَ الْخَیْرَ وَ نَشْکُرُکَ وَ لَا نَکْفُرُکَ وَ نَخْلَعُ وَ نَتْرُکُ مَنْ یَّفْجُرُکَط اللّٰھُمَّ اِیَّاکَ نَعْبُدُ وَ لَکَ نُصَلِّیْ وَنَسْجُدُ وَ اِ لَیکَ نَسْعٰی وَ نَحْفِدُ وَ نَرْجُوْا رَحْمَتَکَ وَنَخْشٰی عَذَابَکَ اِنَّ عَذَابَکَ بِالْکُفَّارِ مُلْحِقٌط
Translation: O Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ! We seek Your help and we seek forgiveness from You and we have belief in You and we have trust in You and we glorify You and we are grateful to You and we are not ungrateful to You and we abandon and stay away from anyone who disobeys You. Ya Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ! It is only You we worship and for only You we offer Salah and perform Sajdah and it is You we run towards and we come in attendance to serve You and seek Your mercy and we fear torment from You; indeed Your torment is about to arrest the non-believers.
Du’a of Tarawih
سُبْحٰنَ ذِی الْمُلْکِ وَالْمَلَکُوْتِ0 سُبْحٰنَ ذِی الْعِزَّۃِ وَالْعَظَمَۃِ وَالْہَیْبَۃِ وَالْقُدْرَۃِ وَالْکِبْرِیَاءِ وَالْجَبَرُوْتِ0 سُبْحٰنَ الْمَلِکِ الْحَیِّ الَّذِیْ لَا یَنَامُ وَلَا یَمُوْتُ0 سُبُّوْحٌ قُدُّوْسٌ رَّ بُّنَا وَرَبُّ الْمَلٰئِکَۃِ وَالرُّوْحِ0 اَللّٰہُمَّ اَجِرْنِیْ مِنَ النَّار0 یَامُجِیْرُ یَامُجِیْرُ یَامُجِیْرُ0 بِرَحْمَتِکَ یَآ اَ رْحَمَ الرّٰحِمِیْنَ0
Translation: Pure is the One Who has Kingdom and Control over Mulk and Malakoot. Pure is the One Who has Honour and Exaltation and Majesty and Power and Greatness and Omnipotence. Pure is the King Who is Alive [and Who] neither sleeps nor dies. Pure and Holy is our Lord and the Lord of angels and of soul. O Allah! Grant me salvation form the fire (of Hell); O the One who grants salvation! O the One who grants salvation! O the One who grants salvation! With Your mercy, O the most Merciful One, have mercy on us.
Azan
اللہُ اَ کْبَرُط اللہُ اَ کْبَرُط اللہُ اَ کْبَرُط اللہُ اَ کْبَرُط اَشْھَدُ اَنْ لَّا ٓ اِلٰـہَ اِلَّا اﷲُ ط اَشْھَدُ اَنْ لَّا ٓ اِلٰـہَ اِلَّا اﷲُ ط اَشْھَدُ اَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَّسُوْلُ اللہِط اَشْھَدُ اَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَّسُوْلُ اللہِ ط حَیَّ عَلَی الصَّلٰوۃِ ط حَیَّ عَلَی الصَّلٰوۃِ ط حَیَّ عَلَی الْفَلَاحِ ط حَیَّ عَلَی الْفَلَاحِ ط اللہُ اَ کْبَرُ ط اللہُ اَ کْبَرُط لَآ اِلٰـہَ اِلَّا اﷲُ ط
Translation: Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ is the Greatest. Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ is the Greatest. Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ is the Greatest. Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ is the Greatest. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah. I testify that Muhammad صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is the Prophet of Allah. I testify that Muhammad صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is the Prophet of Allah. Come towards Salah. Come towards Salah. Come towards success. Come towards success. Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ is the Greatest. Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ is the Greatest. There is none worthy of worship but Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ.
In Azan of Fajr Salah recite اَلصَّلٰوۃُ خَیْرٌ مِّنَ النَّوْمِ after حَیَّ عَلَی الْفَلاَح
Translation: (Offering) Salah is better than sleeping.
In Iqama’h say قَدْ قَامَتِ الصَّلَاۃ after حَیَّ عَلَی الْفَلاَح
Translation: (Offering) Salah is better than sleeping.
Invoke اَقَامَھَا اللہُ وَ اَدَامَھَا مَا دَامَتِ السَّمٰوٰتُ وَالْاَرْضُ in replying to قَدْ قَامَتِ الصَّلَاۃ:
Translation: May Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ keep it established till the heavens and earth exist
When the Mūażżin says اَشْھَدُ اَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَّسولُ اللہ first time (before kissing thumbs’ nails) say:
صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْکَ یارَسُوْلَ اللہ
Translation: May Allah Almighty’s Ṣalat be upon you yā Rasūlallāĥ صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم!
After kissing thumbs’ nails for first time, say
اَللّٰھُمَّ مَتِّعْنِیْ بِالسَّمْعِ وَالْبَصَرِ
Translation: Yā Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ! Benefit me from my faculties of listening and seeing.
Second time replying to اَشْھَدُ اَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَّسولُ اللہ first time (before kissing thumbs’ nails) say:
قُرَّۃُ عَیْنِیْ بِکَ یَارَسُوْلَ اﷲِ
Translation: Yā Rasūlallāĥ صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم! You are the solace of my eyes.
After kissing thumbs’ nails for second time) say
اَللّٰھُمَّ مَتِّعْنِیْ بِالسَّمْعِ وَالْبَصَرِ
Translation: Yā Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ! Benefit me from my faculties of listening and seeing.
In reply to حَـیَّ عَـلَی الصَّلٰوۃِ ؕ , حَـیَّ عَـلَی الْفَلَاحِ ؕ sayاَللّٰھُمَّ مَتِّعْنِیْ بِالسَّمْعِ وَالْبَصَرِ
(1)لَاحَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّۃَ اِلَّابِاللہ
Translation: The power of refraining from sins and doing good deeds is only granted by Allah Almighty.
(2)مَاشَآءَ اللہُ کَانَ وَمَا لَمْ یَشَأْ لَمْ یَکُن
Translation: Whatever Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ wanted happened and whatever He did not want did not happen.
Du’a after Azan
اَللّٰھُمَّ رَبَّ ھٰذِہِ الدَّعْوَۃِ التَّا مَّۃِ وَالصَّلٰوۃِ الْقَائِمَۃِ اٰتِ سَیِّدَنَا مُحَمَّدَ نِا لْوَسِیلَۃَ وَالْفَضِیْلَۃَ وَالدَّرَجَۃَ الرَّفِیْعَۃَ وَابْعَثْہُ مَقَامًا مَّحْمُوْدَﻥ ا لَّذِیْ وَعَدْتَّہٗ وَارْزُقْنَا شَفَاعَتَہ‘ یَوْمَ الْقِیٰمَۃِ ط اِنَّکَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِیْعَادَ ط بِرَحْمَتِکَ یَآاَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِیْنَ
Translation: O Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ, Sovereign of Da’wat-e-Tammah and of this established Salah! Grant to our Lord, Sayyiduna Muhammad صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, Wasilah (Fatawa Razawiyyah, vol. 30, p. 233, summarized) and Fadilah (excellence) and the highest rank, and make him stand at the Maqam-e-Mahmood which you have promised him and make him our Intercessor on the Day of Judgement. Of course, You do not do anything against Your promise. (Sahih Al Bukhari, Kitab Al Tafseer)
Supplication for Funeral of Adults (Man and Woman)
اَللّٰھُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِحَیِّنَا وَ مَیِّتِنَا وَ شَاھِدِنَا وَ غَائِبِنَا وَصَغِیْرِنَا وَکَبِیْرِنَا وَ ذَکَرِنَا وَ اُ نْثٰـنَا ط اَللّٰھُمَّ مَنْ اَحْیَیْتَہٗ مِنَّا فَاَحْیِہٖ عَلَی الْاِسْلَامِ وَ مَنْ تَوَفَّیْتَہٗ مِنَّا فَتَوَفَّہٗ عَلَی الْاِیْمَان
Translation: O Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ! Forgive all of our living ones and all our dead ones, and all those who are present and all those who are not present, and all our young ones and all our old ones, and all our men and all our women. Ya Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ! Whomever you keep alive from among us, keep him alive in Islam, and whomever of us you make die, make him die with faith
Du’a for a Male Minor
اَللّٰھُمَّ اجْعَلْہُ لَنَا فَرَطًا وَّاجْعَلْہُ لَنَآ اَجْرًاوَّذُخْرًا وَّاجْعَلْہُ لَنَا شَافِعًا وَّمُشَفَّعًا ط
Translation: O Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ! Make him a fore-runner to become support for us, and make him recompense for us, and make him our intercessor, and the one whose intercession is accepted.
Du’a for a Female Minor
